Life
Coaching is fast becoming a household word. Life Coaching as been
recognized as a profession for about 20 years. Originally started
by the late Thomas Leonard, Life Coaching has grown and developed
into the leading personal growth service.
Life
Coaches assist clients to dramatically and permanently improve
the quality of their life. They help clients solve problems and
explore the dynamics that make up their life. In coaching, we often
say, we hold up the mirror so our clients can see reality.
As
a Life Coach, we do not focus on the "story" we focus on how our
clients respond or react to the "story." We do not focus on a clients
past or the path they took to reach their current situation or
problem. We focus on where they want to go and help them plan which
path to take to reach their destination or goal.
Since
Life Coaching is a natural alternative service and a relatively
new profession, many view coaching as an art form. Currently Life
Coaching
is only regulated by the three main Life Coaching Organizations.
The US Life Coaching Association ( USLCA ) certifies and promotes
Life Coaching across America.

USLCA proudly offers distinct certifications for Life Coaches. The
USLCA membership is available to Life Coaches
who are not certified or registered. Only Life Coaches displaying
one of the seals listed below are recognized by the USLCA and uphold
the code of ethics listed on the US Life Coach Association web
site.
The
USLCA was developed to recognize Life Coaches who provide professional
coaching to clients. The USLCA focus is " bringing coaches
and clients together."

Registered Life Coach
A Registered
Life Coach has completed a coach training program at a recognized
coach training organization such as Life
Coach College or any accredited
coach training program.
Registered
Life & Business Coaches are available to help you create the life
or business of your dream. |

Certified Life Coach
A Certified
Life Coach has completed a coach training program at a recognized
coach training organization such as Life
Coach College, Coach
U or Coachville Schools of Coaching. Each Certified Life Coach
is individually tested on their ability to provide quality coaching
care.

|
Professional Life Coach
A professional
Life Coach has completed a coach training program, and demonstrated
a competency to coach clients at an advanced level. Most Professional
Life Coaches have prior professional training or at least one year
of coaching experience.
A PLC
will focus on the dynamics that make up your life. |

Master Life Coach
A Master
Life Coach has completed a coach training program, has at least
3 years coaching experience and has demonstrated an ability
to coach clients on a much deeper level, usually focusing on
the core issues in the clients life.
A MLC is certified to teach as well as mentor
new coaches.

Membership in the US Life Coach Association is
available to Natural Health Care Professionals
who provide a service or product to improve the quality of life in the
